So since the beginning of the summer, the blog and interior design world has been oooing and ahhing over Thomas Paul's Sea Life Plates. Lucky me, I was able to see these plates up close here in Baltimore at In Watermelon Sugar, a darling home accessories store in the Hampden area. Here is their display...

Retro @ Home
I am loving this online haven for Mid Century modern home furnishings. It's a store outside of San Francisco and I am itching to make a trip just to go through their treasures. In the March issue of Sunset magazine she gives her tips on picking the perfect vintage pieces. See the article here.

And to top it off...

How incredibly adorable and chic. I'm in the market for a vehicle seeing as how I just moved from NYC. If I could figure out a way to tote furniture around with this, I would definitely sport it in Baltimore.

9 By Design

The pair runs Sixx Design in Manhattan and has a portfolio of beautiful interiors in their back pocket. Here are just a few...

Edit, Edit, Edit...
Those were Nate Berkus' words of advice on Oprah today. How many of you have a room or know someone who has a room cluttered to the ceiling with pictures, furniture, and everything anyone has ever given you? I , for one, know I can do a little bit of editing myself. (Think it counts if I edit some of my boyfriend's things?)
Here are the Before and After of Nate's editing magic.
