Besides being an insanely good movie, The Shining's stunning set design mesmerizes me every time I catch it on tv. Stanley Kubrick has a way of turning interesting plot lines into equally interesting visual creations. While the interior of the Overlook Hotel is incredibly retro, I can't help but imagine incorporating the aesthetic into a modern interior design.
