While perusing the Brooklyn Flea Market...one of my favorite summertime things to do in NYC...I came across these colorful, massive mirrors (don't let the pics below fool you-these are large very substantial pieces of art) by Olde Good Things. If I had the means, I would have taken one home with me, now I'm looking into buying one online. Check these beauties out. Each mirror frame is made of upcycled antique tin ceiling tiles. Brilliant!
have you been to the eastern market in dc? they have some there (might be the same dealer) and i thought they were reasonbly priced. i want to get one for my bathroom one day!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip! I immediately googled the Eastern Market, and now I'm trying to figure out a free weekend to make it there. I did see a pic from the market that looked like it had the mirrors in it. That would be exciting!
